Cancel Filter / ESC refers ONLY to the F8 filters, not a Selection.

Filters and Selections are different. Selections can only be "cancelled" by
making another one, including "All QSOs" (default).

Rob,

Are you confusing filters and selections?

A filter is used for searching; a selection takes a sub-set of the log
based on criteria set in the selection. A filter is canceled with Esc; a
selection by selecting all QSOs.
