It sounds like you want to have two pieces of software on the same PC
talking to the single rig (HamRadioDeluxe and DX4WIN). Physically,
that should be possible as the CI-V link is a daisy-chained bus. Two
level converters, enough serial ports, and a set of cables are all
you'll need. However, it'll cause you troubles if you're trying to
control the rig (versus polling the state of the rig) because the two
software products will be conflicting about who is in control. It may
be that HRD will cause info to be sent to DX4WIN that DX4WIN doesn't
know how to handle.

My bet is that they won't work together very happily.

IMHO you could add the QCWA to that same list.  Many members, $20.00 
annual dues for USA, $25.00 DX, you get a certificate and there are 
meetings in some areas if you want to attend, but that's about all you 
get for your dues.
