I have a FT 1000 mp MkV and having difficulty because the CAT interface timesout a lot. I thought I could set the sample rate up in the Radio control page. The default being 5000ms ( 5 seconds). So I changed this setting to 500 ms 1/2 second and I would expect to see the CAT light flutter at about the same rate but it doesn't seem to effect anything even after saving and restarting DX4WIN ?
Any ideas? And also can you pse connect the radio directly to the PC Without Microham interface. 73 Guy ON4AOI BAND DECODER and related stuff at http://www.on4aoi.be/banddecoder.htm DX4WIN soft and related stuff at http://www.on4aoi.be/dx4win.htm DX4WIN, WRITELOG, WF1B & RITTY CW & RTTY interfaces at http://www.on4aoi.be/keyer.htm ARSWIN link and related stuff at http://www.on4aoi.be/web7.htm DXTELNET soft and related stuff at http://www.on4aoi.be/dxt.htm -----Original Message----- From: Toby & Ira Stoler [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, September 02, 2006 10:37 PM To: ON4AOI Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [Dx4win] YAESU FTDX9000 and Also FT2000 cat problems Hello Guy and everyone, I received my FT2000 from Texas Towers yesterday. I was their number 2 FT2000 sold. I have tried using FT9K driver in DX4WIN 7.02 and it does follow the radio band changes and successfully read frequency into qso record. It does not follow when I click on packet spots. I am also using Writelog version 10.59D, also using FT9K driver. WL seems to work properly both in reading frequency and mode from radio as well as setting VFO A and B when the spot specifies a split frequency and only VFO A for simplex spots. I am also using MicroHam Microkeyer USB interface with their version 3.1.4 router and it is properly sensing FT2000 frequency using settings for FT9K. I hope this is useful information. 73, Ira K2RD ON4AOI wrote: >John, > >Dx4win is supporting the FTDX9000 but it isn't working >Like in All OTHER LOGBOOK or CONTESTPRG correct. >OMS, PY5EG explained clearly what the problem is. > >"Changing bands manually on the FT9K" >DX4WIN follows to the correct band. >This works OK. > >"Sending a grabbed spot to the radio." >The radio goes to the correct frequency on the FT9K >But it goes to VFO B for XMIT and not to VFO A, >independently if the station is operating split or not. >Cmd for VFO A = FA...... and cmd for VFO B = FB...... etc >This is done by all tested programs but the problem stays >For all the same. > >Probably this is a FIRMWARE bug in the FT9K but nobody answers this !!! > >Maybe this is also the reason why you can't buy the FT2000 >( = same new CAT commands like FTDX9000D). >There are some sold in USA but nobody knows (mailed several big dealers all >over the world) when they will be available again. > > > >73 Guy ON4AOI > >BAND DECODER and related stuff at > >http://www.on4aoi.be/banddecoder.htm > >DX4WIN soft and related stuff at > >http://www.on4aoi.be/dx4win.htm > >DX4WIN, WRITELOG, WF1B & RITTY CW & RTTY interfaces at > > http://www.on4aoi.be/keyer.htm > >ARSWIN link and related stuff at > >http://www.on4aoi.be/web7.htm > >DXTELNET soft and related stuff at > >http://www.on4aoi.be/dxt.htm > > > >_______________________________________________ >Dx4win mailing list >[email protected] >http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win > >
