Hi all, hope this weekend everybody have had fun..! My question is simple: I worked ARRL DX Contest SOHP 80m, and worked 44 US states. In my everyday-log I only have 28 states worked, so want to update. I use TRLog for contesting, so when importing QSOs to DX4WIN, I?d like to add the state together with the callsign, is there any possibility..? I run DX4WIN 7.02.15.
Thanks, Josep EA6BF From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 19 07:06:09 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Jim Reisert AD1C) Date: Mon Feb 19 07:10:40 2007 Subject: [Dx4win] Importing WAS In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --- Josep <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi all, hope this weekend everybody have had fun..! > > My question is simple: I worked ARRL DX Contest SOHP 80m, and worked 44 US > states. Hello Josep, Did you import ADIF from TRLOG? Send me your TR LOG (ADIF) and I'll see if I can fix it for you. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 19 16:38:45 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Mike Mellinger WA0SXV) Date: Mon Feb 19 16:43:24 2007 Subject: [Dx4win] 6.04 -> 7.02.15 migration Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Well, I finally bit the bullet and upgraded. Was scared away initially by all of the problems in early 7 releases as well as the usual messes made with DXCC counts due to old stations that weren't in the old country file. I used the migration instructions by Jim, AD1C (thanks!!!) and when finished my country counts only differed by 1 -- which was traced to a card that the ARRL accepted as different from the country file. I suspect that the ARRL and I goofed but I'll confirm that next time I can check the physical cards. I also got bagged by the use of "K" versus "W". A very slow edit of a CSV file resolved this. It SHOULD have been handled automatically by the conversion. Two issues remain: 1. The migration procedure did not migrate GROUP NAMES and SELECTIONS. I finally handled this by taking a log file with the correct GROUP NAMES and SELECTIONS, deleting all but one entry (DX4WIN doesn't want to store an empty log) and then migrating in the cleaned-up log from the migration. Worked fine. 2. Virtually all SPOTS are showing as grey where many showed as black in 6.04. Not sure that this is an issue but I do know that stations never worked before are showing in grey which is a nuisance. All else seems well. Better be -- my backup copy got zapped someplace during the migration. 73, Mike WA0SXV
