Chris, et al,

Just a little clarification, there are only two guys officially supporting
this product. Both of these guys have real jobs and real family commitments.
They set up the mail reflector as a self-help tool, because they knew they'd
never be able to provide 24x7 support, and in general (thanks in great part
to AD1C) it works. As far as I'm aware, they're not making any large profit
off DX4WIN; if anything, given the high costs of appearing at Dayton every
year, they might even be running at a loss - so they're definately not
changing from hams to business men.

I would agree that there has been no significant functionality changes over
the past few years, but other than a cosmetic update, what other
functionality would you like to see? It's very easy to take pot-shots at
these guys, but you've got to come up with alternatvies and suggestions.
Bear in mind, that DX4WIN is a logging program - period. It's not meant to
be a Swiss-Army knife of ham software, so what would logging features you
like to see that are not currently being offered?

Regards,

Darrell

I agree with Ernie - the programmers runs out of power, they take what they
can get with the yearly updated ( bug fixing done be users ) from us,
add more or less useless functions, and dont have any inovations. And over
all; support will be more and more a foreign word.
They moved more and more from Ham's to business mans.

As Ernie sad, its like CT or WriteLog. CT users move to Win-Test, Writelog
user move to N1MM ...
Looks like , the time is over ! Thanks was a nice time.

I am a longtime user of DX4WIN; still i am using DX4WIN. But now i have an
open eye for a next step any buy(!) a new generation one.
