Hi! I moved the 7.03 Help file to 7.02 and it worked fine. I moved the 7.02 help file to 7.03 and it did not fly, just like the .03 help file did not work. Put the help files back in their respective directories. I shut down 7.03, restarted and now the help files work o.k.
I am running XP. 73, Dave Earnest, K7JJ > From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 18 08:26:35 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Jim Reisert AD1C) Date: Fri May 18 08:34:53 2007 Subject: [Dx4win] New record for longest callsign Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Spotted this a.m. by JM3UML: 21250.0 HL2014WOP/DS 18-May-2007 1223Z HL2014WOP/DS1NXN/2 I think the call in the comment field is the correct call. Was not able to install the font before I downloaded/installed Visual Basic Express (I have Microsoft.net Framework but that was not enough). Finally uninstalled the Visual Basic. Consolas fonts are still available for DX4Win. Thanks for the hint, Consolas is easier to read on laptop screen than the default font was and I no more mix U and V :-) I'm using 11p bold with my poor sight... After installation, see if the Consolas font is available to DX4WIN. If not, try downloading and installing it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=22e69ae4-7e40-4 807-8a86-b3d36fab68d3&displaylang=en If it won't let you install the Consolas font package, you're done. If you were allowed to install it, check again to see if the font is available to DX4WIN. Finally, uninstall the MS Visual Studio package you installed. See if the Consolas font is still available (and functioning). Please report your results to the reflector.
