Jay is right, the current DX4WIN data file doesn't contain enough
information to do this. One could do it by adding the SAT_MODE field to
every QSO in the ADIF file using a text editor, but it's awkward.

Some more information.

Jay is right. Satellite QSOs are "different" than other QSOs. There are two
"meaningful" references to LoTW and Satellite QSOs on the web:

  https://p1k.arrl.org/lotw/faq#sats
  http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/news/viewBrowse.php?nID=2086&y=2003&v=292

The amsat.org link seems to be the most useful. LoTW requires that each ADIF
record include these two fields:

  PROP_MODE (should be SAT)
  SAT_NAME (see the arrl.org link)

DX4WIN does have a "Sat Band" field but it's not exported to ADIF. DX4WIN does
not track the Satellite name which which LoTW requires. Even SAT_NAME by
itself isn't really sufficient because a single satellite may operate in
multiple modes. The SAT_MODE field is defined in the ADIF specification
(http://www.adif.org/adif218.htm) but there is no enumeration for it.

I don't see how this can be done without Paul changing the underlying logbook
format.

I just uploaded QSO's from LOTW to DX4WIN. It said that 3 QSO's where not
found in my log. Is there someway, I can see what they are? Thanks- John
