Hi Dave, I really don't remember how 6.04 worked, it's been 3 years since version 7 was released. In version 7, the flags are separate, and used separately, unless they are "ORed" together in your QSO preferences. But in any event, you can't get award (submission) credit for a QSO in DX4WIN until that QSO is first confirmed (either electronically or with a paper QSL). > I can't be the only one with this problem ??!! Maybe someone else on the reflector who is still using 6.04 can comment. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C/0, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 7 14:36:09 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Dave Sharred) Date: Fri Sep 7 14:38:08 2007 Subject: [Dx4win] More on DXCC submission and LOTW In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi Jim V6 is exactly the same; separate flags. BUT, the point is, after setting in preferences the "Confirmed QSOs" to "Card or Upload"; you cannot then go backwards , since the QSL'ed flag has changed state ! Unless V7 does behave differently ? When V7 came out, I never saw a compelling reason to upgrade; if it is better in this regard, then I have found the reason ! 73 Dave G3NKC -----Original Message----- From: Jim Reisert AD1C [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 07 September 2007 17:46 To: Dave Sharred Cc: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Dx4win] More on DXCC submission and LOTW --- Dave Sharred <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > The same flags are in 6.04; I think I wrote previously that when you set > "Confirmed QSOs" to "Card or Upload" you cannot go backwards - the QSL > flag is then written to as well. > > If you chase different awards, like IOTA, then you are scuppered; since you > still need a paper QSL !!!
