Good Evening, I have been going nuts! After being inactive for a couple of years, I have decided to get up to date and get my logs and LOTW in sync. I had cleared all of the flags, got DX4WIN to match LOTW, saved the log. I happen to work a station. I went to check my logs after uploading them to LOTW and discovered that the Listing/Summary/LOTW are out of sync. I am short one band country, CW, and 10 meter QSO (same Q). I have counted the CW and countries listed in DX4WIN. They are correct in the list, but wrong in the summary. I can not seem to figure out how/why they are out of sync. I left the logs for a couple of days after a family emergency and came back to them tonight. I have spent a few hours combing over them. I had printed the html LOTW listing and the DX4WIN listings. Too bad DX4WIN does not do it like the league!!
Any ways: Why do they get out of sync? How do you get them all sync'd up? After I get them in sync, when is the best time to buy LOTW QSOs? I want to get all I can via LOTW then do another submission via paper. I have been going through them all on the menus and getting them back to what I want but cannot get the rig/PC to talk. When I try to "start radio" I get a message saying "ie_open - device already open" as if another program is using the port. I have tried changing the port although this is theway things were set up previously.
