Hi All: DX4WIN lost a few of my latest Q's last night when XP did a 'security update' on my laptop. I am using 7.02.15. The update reboots while DX4WIN is running, and apparently the program does not shut down & recover gracefully. I usually do a 'save' after a QSO to be sure it is saved to disk, but in this case I must have forgot. I have set the 'backup' time to 1 minute in the preferences, and thought that would protect me when I forget to manually save the file. After this event, I monitored the log file while the program is running (using Explorer), and never saw the date/time change as I would expect if it did a 'auto save'. Am I missing something or need to set the auto-backup feature differently? Thanks for any help/suggestions.
