Hello, If this has been answered before then sorry... I'm running a 1.3Ghz Sony laptop with 256MB ram and XP with sp2 installed. The transceiver is a IC746 9600bd and the interface is a Microham keyer II.
Dx4Win works fine and I've been running psk on it tonight without any problems. However when I enable CAT control within Dx4Win the PC momentarily freezes each time the CAT interface seems to get polled. Turning the CAT off cures the problem straight away. The only thing I have noticed is the processor hits 100% in performance monitor which coincides with the freeze. I also use Writelog but this performs okay. Anyone else had this problem? David
