Hello All,

I've also been puzzled/plagued by this problem,
and with discussion and help from Jim, AD1C it's
been determined that my particular issue was/is related to a special call that's in the database and only for a certain time period.

If I enter W5ADC the program will instantly close
and will require rebooting. As it turns out, there
is a W5A special call that is valid from a particular
date forward. My W5ADC entries date from the
50's and when program looks for W5A it isn't
"smart enough" to continue with the "DC" and
crashes. (;-). The "fix" in my case is to enter W5DC
and then back-space and add the "A".

Perhaps this is the case in your situation.
