Yes, Buckmaster is on the hard drive. It has to do with the .dll file that
DX4WIN uses to look up the database. Something is flawed in it and I hope
they correct it. The reason I use Buckmaster is when you buy the CD, you get
6 months of free downloads to keep the database up to date. If others like
QRZ or RAC do the same, maybe I will change to them. I would like to know.

This got my attention because N7HRO used to live about a mile away from me.
Anyway, I did a make believe log entry for him (Add QSO off line) and it
logged OK here. I DO NOT use the Buckmaster CD with the F3 call lookup
window open. My F3 look ups are linked to the RAC database that I have
downloaded from the RAC CD and stored at C:\RAC on my hard drive. I would
suspect maybe the problem is due to interaction between DX4WIN and the
BUCKMASTER CD. Do you have the option of installing the BUCKMASTER CD data
onto the hard drive as you can do with the RAC CD? Maybe worth a try.
