I accidentally mis-associated the extension of the DX4Win DXL files somehow (don't know how but some late night befoogle I guess) and I cannot get the <filename>.DXL to be directly associated again with DX4WIN.
I have done the "Microsoft" [Windows XP] stuff and it will not let me select the DX4WIN.exe as the program to re-associate the files with. If I open DX4Win and do a File, Open and select the desired file, all is fine and normal. But before this mess, I could use just a link to each filename.dxl and it would open DX4Win properly. Without tiptoeing into the Registry???? Or some other place one fears to go, I am at a loss. I have reinstalled DX4Win but the DXL files still remain mis appropriated. Any ideas?
