Are you talking about the Band field in the main QSO window? This uses a standard Windows dropdown box and you can shortcut (fairly) easily using the keyboard. If you put the cursor in this field and type a "3", it will select 30 meters; if you type a "4" it will select 40 meters, etc. The only problem is selecting 160, 17, 12, and 10. You'll find that if you type a "1", it will first roll you around the entries beginning with 1. That is, if you're currently on 20, typing "1" will take you to 17, 15, 12, 10, 1.25m, 13cm and then around to 160. Unfortunately, the dropdown box list includes all bands, not just those you select in the "Station" tab of the Preferences setup. The inability to recognize a second digit is a Windows thing, common to most applications that use standard Windows calls to build the controls (it's REALLY annoying trying to select from a filter dropdown in Excel). I don't find it too troublesome to click on the down arrow, slide the scroll bar until I can see the band I want, then click on it. That's just me, I guess. YMMV. 73...
