Thought I had tried this before unsuccessfully, John. Maybe I was thinking of that other logging program I used for a while. Oh well...
In any case 8.03 seems to be working just fine using the COM port here. I'm using a standard COM port and Win XP. I would suggest that Peter double check his settings and not assume the configuration from .02 was correctly copied to .03.
