Thank you Erkki, It sounds like upgrading to 8.03 may be the solution.
Nodir did not say which version he was using and I tested it in 8.02 so maybe this has been addressed in the latest version I will now download that and check it out as this would be a very important function for me to know is working correctly before upgrading. 73 John ZL1BYZ. -----Original Message----- From: Erkki Heikkinen [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, 25 December 2009 9:39 a.m. To: 'John Shaw'; [email protected] Subject: RE: [Dx4win] CW and Esc I am using 8.03 and Microkeyer also, but can't reproduce this. The ESC works just like in earlier versions and cancels the rest of the canned message. Doesn't affect the real-time mode either. Maybe it is OS related? Here using XP. 73 Erkki OH2BF > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John Shaw > Sent: Thursday, December 24, 2009 10:23 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Dx4win] CW and Esc > > > > The situation becomes more dysfunctional when using Winkey as the ESC > character is not sent to the Winkey chip so it belligerently continues > to complete the last message sent to it. > > 73 John ZL1BYZ > > -----Original Message----- > From: Dick Grolleman [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Friday, 25 December 2009 8:49 a.m. > To: John Shaw > Subject: Re: [Dx4win] CW and Esc > > Hi > > don't know the answer, but Nodir is right.
