Here it happens exactly like Nordir described, with 8.03, XP and MicroKeyer. I checked back with 7.07.02 and it also does exactly the same.
I can stop an outgoing message by hitting the "dit" paddle two times. Another matter: according to the MicroKeyer manual the data bytes should be configured for one stop bit, but it looks like DX4WIN is using 8N2 for Winkey.
