Do I understand this correctly - hooking this interface up between your computer and the rig causes the tuning knob on the rig itself to stop working correctly? What happens if you use "Stop Radio" on DX4WIN? Does that restore things to normal? The only thing I can think of offhand is to check that "CI-V Transceive" is off on your rig. Otherwise, it seems pretty odd. > A call to WMR yielded two suggestions: Try assigning yet another, different > comport. If you've already done that, it seems likely that either your RigTalk is broken. If you haven't tried something different, I'd suggest giving "CI-V Test" a try: http://www.plicht.de/ekki/software/civtest.html or CI-V Commander. I've used both an eBay noname USB CI-V interface and an interface from HoseNose using DX4WIN 8.x and it's working fine. 73, -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
