Kjell, thanks for the response. I had already done what you described -- I checked only the bands/modes I want to see in Packet3, but spots for all of the unchecked bands and modes are also appearing (in grey).
If I recall correctly, in 8.02 I only saw grey spots for stations I had already worked in the same band/mode (in the bands/modes I had checked in Packet3), but since I upgraded to 8.04 yesterday, I'm seeing grey spots for all the bands/modes that I had not checked in Packet3. The result is that most of the spots on the screen at any one time are unwanted spots, and the spots bands/modes I do want to see scroll off the screen too quickly. Any further thoughts?
