I'm preparing a DXCC submission tonight. I printed the report and started
pulling cards.
I was surprised to find that most of the entries in the submission report
aren't confirmed.
First, how do I stop QSOs that are confirmed only on LoTW from showing up in
the DXCC submission report? As it is, I've got to download the report as CSV
and remove the LoTW QSLs by hand.
More importantly, why do I seem to have hundreds of QSOs where DX4WIN says
"Cnfm: Y" on the LoTW row but where LoTW doesn't record a QSL? Is there some
way that I can clear all of the LoTW confirmation flags and re-import?
My guess as to the cause of the incorrect confirmation flags: downloading
all of my log (NOT just QSLs) from LoTW and importing it into DX4WIN. If the
software doesn't verify that there really is a QSL and always sets the
confirmation flag, this would explain the problem.
