You will need some usb to serial convertrers. Dx4win has not problems. I have tried old computer with many programs loaded and dx4win still plays. But some other programs (like writelog) are very sensitive with cw keying via a usb port. Winkeyer is a very good alternative solution on this subject and is supported by dx4win if you want to buy one. If you have a simple cw keying interface, it is better to connect it to the real com port. Cat control and ptt is not problem whether is connected. If you need rtty you will need a real com port for fsk.
