Buy a MicroHam micro KEYER II and be done with it. One USB cable to the computer, no other cables to the computer needed for sound etc, fully configurable virtual com ports, winkey, FSK, adjustable inputs/outputs, other outputs to solve amp and antenna switching/timing issues. Check it out for yourself.
No affiliation just a happy customer. 73 John ZL1BYZ -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Byron Peebles Sent: Thursday, 17 March 2011 16:30 To: [email protected] Subject: [Dx4win] DX4Win and USB Ports It's time to update a ten year old shack, and the new computer has one real serial port and the rest are USB (serial bus) ports. So, I want to connect my TenTec Orion II to this. Are there any tricks to doing CAT Radio Control, CW keying or the TenTec USB-sound-card interface through USB? How do I map the COM ports listed in DX4WIN to USB? Thanks! 73, Byron ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
