hi all, just for the info, i have Win7-32 professional, and have the same thing happen, sometimes opening DX4WIN 8.04, an error window comes up and says the serial keying port is already open and it is not. usually i can close and re-open dx4win and then all is well. i do use N1MM also that uses that same port, but have not been able to figure out if there is a particular sequence that causes the error window in DX4WIN. 73 & soft landings, jay w, wa0www
