Think there were others with same USB problem via ft2000 Maybe those that had them can give more details how they solved it

Normally the MKII installs virtual ports on your PC , you connect Dx4win (or other program) for cat data to one of those ports if for some reason this port Disappears after awhile dx4win or other software doesn´t detect the comport anymore And give the error.
