It sounds like CAT control between DX4WIN and your radio is not
working.   First, go to your RADIO tab in your preferences and disable
all radio control.  If you use F9, the QSO should start to be logged
to your default band/mode and NOT change anymore.

Enable your RADIO preferences again.  Right-click on the DX Spots
window and bring up the Band Map.  Use F9 to put your log into
real-time mode.  If you change bands on the radio, does the bandmap
follow?

No such feature in DX4WIN, sorry.

Are HRD and MixW working with your radio OK?  These software can NOT
be running at the same time as DX4WIN because only one program can
access the COM Port for the radio at the same time.
