Guys, I take my "Save" directory and attach it to an email and send it to my Yahoo email account. I then move it to my DX4WIN folder on Yahoo.
It is free (I like free) and virtually indestructible. Yes, it requires an internet connection...but then again so does this mail list! And if anyone wants to hack my DX4WIN folder on Yahoo, they can have at it!...and if Yahoo goes out of business, then we are more trouble than looking for a place to back-up our DX4WIN files! CD-ROM and thumb drives are great, as long as you store them outside the home. Virtually useless in case of fire, flood, tornado, acts of God, Grandchildren and hungry dogs. 73 and Good Luck in CQWWcw... It requires an internet connection 2. It's vulnerable to hackers 3. The company might go out of business What is wrong with using a CD-ROM or thumbdrive? 73, Roger On 11/21/2011 6:12 AM, Vanderydt Theo wrote: > Hi Alan es all, > > The best solution to safeguard your entire DX4Win "save" directory is by > installing Dropbox on your computer. > ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
