Another all software option is LP-Bridge which allows you to create several virtual com ports that can share the same Com port for controlling the radio. I use it to run N1MM and DX4WIN at the same time during contest weekends.
Just do a Google search for N8LP LP Bridge. It's available as a free download. It works with my K3 just great.
