Hi folks,
I've run into something that I'm confused by (there are a lot of those but this one is specific!!!) - when I have confirmed a new prefix (either by LOTW or via a QSL card), the "WPX" box which indicates the band and mode of the contact remains filled with a "W". When I look at the "Country" box, the "Zone" box, and the "State" box (when appropriate) they change to "C", indicating the contact is confirmed. I've just recently started paying attention to the prefixes, so it could be that this has been the case for a long time but I haven't noticed it. It does seem strange, however, that one award would work differently than the other three. Anybody have any info on this???
