Hi, I used DX4WIN 5 8.05 under Windows 7 64 bits and the color of land cannot be change at will.
In menu World Map > Options , I only activate “Show spot country” and “Day and Night then in World Map > Draw, I have only activate World, Islands, States and great Circle. All those options works fine. I do not remember what color was used by default for the land but it didn’t please me so I changed it. It is now pale green. I also changed the water color for a custom Blu water (R=4,G=91,B=187). That works too. Then I wanted a more yellowish for the land. I selected the pale yellow (R=255,G=255,B=128) in the Windows palet, but the system didn't change it; it remained pale green while the color settings in memory is well (R=255,G=255,B=128). The sole color I can get for the land now is my default color (pale green) and no other (or multicolor via the menu Options “color countries”) Even running in compatibilty mode XP SP3 I have the same issue. Has someone this issue and how did you solve it ? is there a config file that we can edit (and with what tool) to change the land color ?
