Yes Ernie when checking for updates un-check (layouts for logbook window) or it will over write your changes every time.
Not sure of the purpose of it doing this, bit of a PITA IMHO but maybe I'm missing something? 73 John ZL1BYZ. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ernie Walls Sent: Sunday, 22 October 2017 5:37 p.m. To: [email protected] Subject: [Dx4win] The effect of the logbook set-up when updating the program. I set-up my logbook just as I wanted it, and as it was in v8.05. Then, I went to the update area and updated a couple of files (as the program suggested), and when I returned to the program I immediately noticed that my logbook set-up had returned to the default setting! I set-up the logbook again, updated again, and the same thing happened! Yes, saved everything each time. I must be doing something wrong - surely? Can anyone advise.
