May be a DX4win issue but it also doesn’t working in NN1M logger which leads me to believe it’s a computer the computer is the

Sounds like you are using a laptop where the function keys control
multi-media options (brightness, alternate screens, fast forward/
reverse, volume, etc.) by default and you need to hold a key marked
FN to use F1-F12. Most have a configuration application or a BIOS
setting to "flip" the multimedia/function operation. Unfortunately,
there is no standard trick ... you will need to read the documentation
for your particular computer.

It was also suggested you start the computer you have to go into the bios and
switch the keyboard there?

I do not understand this statement. If you are talking abut the
computer keyboard - that you can send from the keyboard in the
DX4win CW window but the F-keys are non responsive there, that
is a configuration issue in DX4Win (probably a failure to program
the F-keys). If you mean something else, you will have to be
more specific.

What transceiver are you using?

The CW window running MicroKey II winkey

In microHAM USB Device Router ...
  1) make sure Router is reading the transceiver mode and
that the transceiver is in CW
  2) Select the PTT tab - is there a *BLACK* box around CW
     in the PTT Selector?
  3) Set CW PTT to PTT1 (microphone jack) and make sure
the microphone cable is connected to the mic jack of
     your transceiver.

Alternately, make sure semi break-in (CW VOX) is enabled in
your transceiver and the transceiver PTT Out (amplifier PTT)
is connected to PTT_IN on the rear panel of MK II (so MK II
know when your transceiver has switched to transmit).
