Hello Andy, There are a couple of ways to do this. Since you have already ordered version 9, the easiest way would be to wait until you have it up and running and simply import your WSJT-X adif log or log them manually as FT8.
You may log the QSOs as TOR in version 8 and have TQSL change them to FT8 when it uploads them. In TQSL: File > Display or Modify Preferences... > ADIF Modes > Add... Type TOR into the ADIF Mode: box, select FT8 from the Resulting TQSL mode list, and click OK. Click OK at the bottom of the next window. TQSL will now automatically change all of the TOR QSOs to FT8. When you upgrade to version 9, you can change them all back to FT8 with the multiple QSO operations function. There is more info on this in the reflector archives over the past few months. Good luck in the Chiltern DX marathon. -- 73, Mike Cizek WØVTT -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of andyphewitt Sent: Sunday, December 31, 2017 05:16 To: Dx4win@Mailman. Qth. Net Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN AND FT8 Gary, I have not been using FT8 much or for long until recently although I did dip my toes in some weeks ago. Now, however, I have worked a few new ones for the UK CDXC marathon and as they count I might as well transfer them to my DX4Win 8.05 log. But I did see some instructions somewhere indicating that as DX4Win 8.05 does not recognise FT8 one has to change the mode to TOR or similar and then change it back before submitting the integrated log to Club Log and LoTW. My problem is I cannot find these instructions. Can anyone please suggest where I should look?
