I recently updated DX4WIN to the latest and greatest. It worked well for a week or so and then everytime I try to start the application I get Error Messages. The first message reads, "An error occurred in the application." and I am given three menu options. They are Continue application, restart application, or close application.
When I restart the application I get the same error message - so no go there. If I close the application it will do just that. When I then try to open it again I get the same message - so again - no progress. When I hot continue application, I get another error that states, "ie_Badld - Specified comport doesn't exist". I have no idea what that means. When I hit "OK" on the offered button, I am greeted with another message which reads, "Radio error number 1, Press Help for details. When I press Help absolutely nothing happens. If I press the offered OK button I am send back to the original error message that I started with. I have over 24 years of radio log in this program and now have no access to it at all. A little help would go a long way to soothing my emotions. Thanks in advance!
