I have had this happen to me a couple of times over the past 30 years. The problem was my .CTY file mysterorly disappeared. Check your SAVE folder for a missing .CTY file. I keep DX4WIN on two separate computers (home and contest). I go to the other computer, copy the .CTY file to a thumb drive, then insert it into the SAVE folder of the malfunctioning computer. This makes DX4WIN open as normal. Then run the UPDATE function to be sure you have the newest .CTY file
