Dick,

This is an occasional problem that arises when either the app or the OS
crashes before the config is written on exit. It has happened to me a
couple times.

In the latest version of dx4win, the config file is binary so there is no
text file any more to directly edit.

Do you have an export of your settings? (config.dat exported to config.txt)?

If you do, you can just delete \dx4w903\save]\config.dat and restart dx4win
and the windows will be back where can get them. Then you can import your
config export back in.

If you do not have a backup of the config, and your main window is visible,
you can back it up (export it) and edit it there, the window positions are
at the end of the file, and then import it back in and restart dx4win.

If you do not have a backup of your config, and the main window is the one
off the screen, you may have to just delete it anyway and then put all the
settings back yourself, its not that hard. Then be sure to export your
config file for next time.
