Hi Joe, I use rotor control with DXBase here. I have five Hy-Gain rotors here (2 tail twisters, 2 Ham IV, and a CD-44) that I have hooked up. I use one control box to run all of them (auto switching of antennas and rotors as I switch bands on my radio).
I highly recommend the Rotor EZ available from Idiom Press, Box 1025, Geyserville, GA 95441. Their phone is 707 431-1286. This board mounts inside the CDE control box and interfaces very nicely to DXBase. You set it up in DXBase as the HYG-DUC1. This unit has features that are just unbelieveable. For instance, Hy Gain rotors are notorious for sticking when you first try and turn them (brake sticks). The cure has always been to first hit the opposite direction for a second and then go in the direction you want. This unit does this automatically!! Other features include Preset electronic end points, overshoot protectioin and 90 degree off set support. The best part is that it is very reasonable priced. Good luck Dick Williams K8ZTT Franktown CO
