I am having a problem where the following scenario takes place.
Let us suppose that I work ZA1A on 20 ssb. Let us also suppose that my last
logged contact was on CW.
I input the date and time, no problem. I input the call sign, and the RSTs
and RSTr fields default to 599! The Mode defaults to CW (The previous qso's
mode)
If I change the RSTs and RSTr to the correct 59, and the mode to usb, and
then put the frequency in, the RSTs and RSTr default back to 599! And the
mode changes to CW! The band also does not default based on the frequency
that I put in. This is very frustrating and has caused some NIL cards
because I had the mode wrong. If I do spot this, and go back and correct it
AFTER I have populated all the rest of the fields, then it works ok.
Anybody else have this problem?? Is there a fix?? I just ordered dxbase
2003, and I do want it fixed......
