Jim, Click on "Tools" in the top toolbar Click on "User Options" On the "General Tab" at the upper right you will see a check box under "Prompts at Startup" named "Database and Field Order" put a check in this box and DXBase will prompt you at startup for the database and field order file that you want to use.
