Eugene,

Maybe you don't have user options set correctly.  The settings we use for
the FT1000mp are 4800, 8, N, 2.  It's possible you changed the baud rate in
your radio, if so, you would need to use the corresponding baud rate in
DXbase user options.  Also, make sure you don't have some other device also
using the same comport or IRQ.
