I had problems with Windows 2000 also and decided to go back to 98SE. The 
problem I ran into was it would change bands, modes, etc but as soon as I 
turned the rig of my PC would lock up. I tried everything conceivable so 
gave up and went back to 98SE.

Wish I could talk Microsoft into giving me XP for the 2000 I bought but 
that will probably never happen and they don't take software back that 
easy. Live and learn I guess.
