Phil If a different program will send cw and DXB will not.....then it's a driver issue. I had that problem. Been there, done that. You have to get DriverX.sys and DriverX.vxd into System32 folder and get them registered.
The clue is that the other program uses it's drivers when running which allow DXB to work For what ever reason, DriverX are not being accessed when you start DXB. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Phil ON4VP" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, December 05, 2002 8:53 AM Subject: Re: [DXBase] cw keying > Hey Jim, > > I tried this in Win XP, same here, when starting up cwtype, now DXBase also > sends cw ???? quiting CWType, DXbase does not anymore. > > To all, Yes I triple checked reg settings, drivers, website support, etc... > I can use other programs to, only DXBase seems to have problems on cw keying > ... > > Phil ON4VP > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jim Callow" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Kijun Park-¹Ú±âÁØ" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "Phil ON4VP" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: <[email protected]> > Sent: Thursday, December 05, 2002 1:41 PM > Subject: Re: [DXBase] cw keying > > > > I also am having some problem keying from DXBase to the on-board COM1 port > > in my new computer running Win98 SE.
