Hello All: I was talking with my DXCC Card Checker here in Utah yesterday and was told that the ARRL had put the instructions for the DXCC QSL Card Field Checking Program on the ARRL Web Site. He said that these would be the instructions that he would follow for the checking of my cards.
I found the info under Operating Activities/DXCC/Field Checking. There were a couple of surprising requirements that I found there. They are that the cards must be dated 10 years or less from the calendar year of the application, and that no 160 Meter QSO's are allowed. QSO's beyond 10 years ago must be sent to the ARRL for processing and may not be included in the submittal containing field checked cards. Is this correct, or did I understand it wrong? I know that there are several DXCC Card Checkers on the reflector who would know the current answer. What prompted my concern is that the DXCC Summary Sheets that I printed out on DXBase 2003, using the "Select only valid for field checks" option, allowed QSO dates back to 1967. Thanks very much for the help. 73, Mark...
