I've thought about this Jim.
If I get a mistype on the call, I just delete the log line and start over.

I had a program that offered a 'update' to callsigns etc.
And I used it, discarded it.
There were so many callsign changes, upgrades etc. that
W1AA who was (name1) in 70
and then was (name2) in 80
etc.
that I would mess it up more than make it better.

Unfortunately a whole lot of the calls at the beginning of my log are now
SK's.
And their calls are reappearing with new owners.
This way when someone asks me "Hey do you remember (so&so)?" I can look back
and at least come up with the correct name even if my senior moments don't
remember him at all.
