Thanks for the info Jack. I think that's fine if I'm clicking on a spot
that's been posted as split, but I don't think the program should be sending
any data to the rig if I'm entering data manually. This can be quite the
nuisance for me. I was in split mode listening to a DX station work his
pile-up trying to figure out his call and where he was listening. I finally
get to a point where I have the guy's call and the rig set up for a call on
his listening frequency. I hit tab to go to the RST column and DXbase swaps
my VFOs on me. Sorry, but unless I explicity issue a specific rig control
command or click on a spot, I think the program should be in "read-only"
mode w.r.t. rig control. At least I can't think of any other situation I
would want DXbase controlling the rig. I'll call this a feature request.

Mark,

There is a convention that is expected by DXbase when it comes to VFOs and
split mode. If the radio reports that it is split mode, DXbase expects the
receive to be VFOa and the transmit to be VFOb. I suspect that "sometimes"
you have the reverse and therefore, DXbase logs them differently than you
expected.

Regards,
Jack
