I keep my DXBase 2003 on two computers in my shack. The one I log from is
old and slow, so when I do QSLs and maintenance I always do it on my other
computer. I have a Zip drive on both computers and I copy the files from one
computer and put them on the other. This has the advantage of keeping me
backed up in case my old computer dies on me.

Over the last year my log file has ballooned to 67 Megs and I know a lot of
guys must have much larger log files than this. Soon I won't be able to copy
my files onto a 100meg zip anymore, not to mention it will take a long time.
I read earlier that you can use Access to "compact" these files but I wasn't
able to get it to work out for me.

While we are asking for additions to DXBase 2003 for the upcoming version, I
really wish that something could be built in to allow us to make this file a
little smaller.
