For the computer clock to update correctly you must have your standard time
offset from UTC displayed in the window not your daylight savings time offset.
standard time offsets for North America Atlantic -4 hours, eastern is -5 hours,
central is -6 hours and mountain is -7 hours and pacific is minus -8 hours.

Click on the time window in the lower left of your screen and bring up the
clock.

First put a check mark in the window for update the time automatically.
Next get your time zone correct in the next window as per standard time.
Next set you local time on the clock.

that should put you back in sync.
