They made the changes... They provided a 'Mapping' option. If your .adi says LSB, you can set a 'map' that all LSB is changed to Phone during the 'signing' step in preparing your log for uploading to LoTW.
Same with the various flavors of PSK etc. This obviously doesn't effect the .adi spec. But I thought I read that the Spec. was able to include other modes by following the proper format? If I create a mode called PSK1001, the format would be <MODE:7>PSK1001 and that would be transportable. It would be up to the logging program receiving that info to permit mapping this info. Maybe I misunderstood that. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ed Parish K1EP" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DXBase Reflector" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 01, 2003 5:21 AM Subject: Re: [DXBase] LoTW > At 06:51 PM 5/18/03 -0500, you typed: > >I was notified that the ARRL will make changes in the next version of the > >software, so that it will convert LSB and USB to SSB automagically > >Chuck/K0XM > > That may be true, but according to the ADIF specification at http://www.hosenose.com/adif/adif.html the only valid modes are: > > MODE: SSB, CW, RTTY, TOR=AMTOR, PKT, AM, FM, SSTV, ATV, PAC=PACTOR,CLO=CLOVER > > > _______________________________________________ > DXBase Reflector - Please visit us on the web at www.dxbase.com > - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > To UNSUBSCRIBE please visit: > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase > >
