I am running WIN98SE. Weather I am using DXBase by itself or have other
window programs running, I can lose the telnet connection and have my CPU go
to 100% usage. It used to happen very frequently, about every 1/2-3 hours. I
am using a Linksys router. I upgraded the software on the router. Now I can
stay connected on telnet from 1-3 days. I have Norton Utilities running in
the lower corner and monitor the cpu usage. When it goes to 100%, I close
the internet connection and reconnect. No big deal, but it would be nice if
it stayed connected.
My indicators on the DSL modem all show that I am connected when the cpu
goes to 100% usage. So, not sure what is happening.

You are the only one that I have ever heard of.
The only way you will notice it is, if you loose
the telnet connection and your Internet Cluster window is still open.
It you close the Internet Cluster after you loose the connection then
the 100% CPU usage will go away.
I wonder what operating system you are using?
Do you ever try to run other programs while DXBase is running?
If I loose my connection here and I am running something like a
PSK program the waterfall will slow down and be jerky. If I happen
to be running something like Microsoft Word then ever time I type
a character it will take about a minute for it to appear on the screen, etc.
I have tried other logging programs such as Logic6, Logger32 and they
don't have this problem. So I don't think it is a Microsoft problem.
