Joe:
I find that the ini file partially works but there are two problems that =
I
see, set aside that I can only control vfo A.
First, the frequency that is brought up is not correct because the order =
of
the digits of the call up is wrong.
For example, instead of bringing up 21.028.0, the 857 is set to 8.002.21 =
-
same digits but different order.
The second problem appears to be a pacing issues. The first and second
attempts to enter a freq on the 857 bring up the window that says the hf
radio does not responds. The third attempt brings up the same window, =
but
when I continue, the radio changes frequency. This behavior is =
consistent -
the first two attempts always fail, the third fails but when I continue
after the third attempt, the frequency does input; albeit, to the =
incorrect
frequency as described above.
I hope I have been clear with my explanation.
If you want to send me your telephone number, I will be happy to call =
you to
explain better.
Thanks for you help - this is all beyond my skill levels.
73, Ken W8LU

Joe + group,

I'm sorry to disappoint you Joe after spending time on this config file.
Both sets are not working.

One set does not interact at all (VFO_A) the other shows weird data in =
the
freq. field (f.e. 14.220 Mhz is 78694 or something)

Regards Phil
